Laboratory Assistant – Neuroscience & Animal Exper, EI Eléazar Ztech
Lyon (France)

Eleazar Raphaël Etongo Mbock II is a laboratory assistant specialized in neuroscience and animal experimentation (FELASA C). Passionate about biomedical research and the understanding of brain mechanisms, he studied at Paul Sabatier University – Toulouse III, where he developed strong expertise in cellular, molecular, and behavioral biology. He has contributed to several research projects within leading institutions such as CRNL (CNRS Lyon), CRC (INSERM Paris), and CPTP (INSERM Toulouse), focusing on the role of transferrin and murine models in neuroprotection and the study of neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s disease. These experiences allowed him to master animal facility management, stereotaxic surgery, genotyping, as well as molecular and behavioral analyses. Alongside his scientific background, Eleazar has also gained teaching experience as a laboratory assistant in a BTS program and as a private tutor, strengthening his skills in science communication and knowledge transfer, which he sees as essential to promoting research and inspiring future generations. As the founder and honorary member of the student association Brainbow, he is committed to the dissemination of knowledge in neuroscience and ethology through events, conferences, and publications addressing the ethical and societal implications of emerging sciences. Today, versatile, rigorous, and driven by scientific curiosity, Eleazar seeks to pursue his career at the interface between research and education, contributing his technical, organizational, and pedagogical expertise to innovative projects in neuroscience.
